As I slowly clean out the rest of my polishes, I'm finding gems in my own collection that I've forgotten about. Today's polish was in a box on my desk and I thought today was a good day to bust it out.
The Glisten & Glow 1950's Nostalgia Collection was a cute collection of cremes that both stamps and watermarbles but if you know me, you know I just like painting my nails. I'm still just a plain jane girl sometimes, and while I feel that maybe I won't have tons of Instagram likes or pins on Pinterest, it's who I am.
I used Glisten & Glow Base Coat, two thin coats of polish and finished with Glisten & Glow Top Coat. The first coat had a bit of streaks in it but the second coat self leveled and applied very well. While this is listed as a light minty green, it does pull a lot of yellow which almost looked neon to me.
My little nubbins just look so bright with this color! I definitely think it's great for spring and summer and would look awesome as a pedicure as well. I was also really happy with how opaque it is being a yellow based green.
