Do you find yourself wearing "winter" colors in the spring? Because that was my motivation today with the above China Glaze polish.
I decided to grab the crelly white with rainbow reflective glitter and smaller microglitter called Don't Be A Snowflake from the Glam Finale 2017 collection. I wasn't sure what to expect from the formula, so I started using Glisten & Glow Ridge Filling base coat but then switched to the Original Nail Envy by OPI in the shade Samoan Sand. It's a beige base coat that helps cover the natural nail so you don't have to use so many coats of polish.
On my pinkie and ring fingers, I have three coats of polish over the Ridge Filling base coat but on my middle and index fingers, I only had to use two coats of polish. All fingers were topped with Glisten & Glow Top Coat to protect and add shine. I felt like this formula was very watery but the glitter held well on the brush and I didn't have to fish for the larger glitters. It also made it harder to have thin coats and I did struggle a bit. You need to be sure to wipe all the excess off your brush each time.
Overall I think I'd have to wear this polish over another color - probably white. Removal was a bit tricky too - the microglitters were everywhere but it just took a little more careful planning instead of just rubbing it off in one go.
