Hello dear friends! I cannot believe we are already in March - where did the first two months go? I was doing really well with pre-planning posts and then time just got away from me, and so did my polish. I have boxes all over my living room and all over my desk so I'm determined to get it handled, especially with my in-laws coming at the end of the month!
Today I have a new to me brand called Dip Into Pretty. They are mainly known for their pedicure separators that help to spread your toes during pedicures but since I'm currently recovering from minor foot surgery, no one wants to see that. I was really excited to hear that they make polish as well! Up for review today is Dip Into Pink, a medium pink with pink and silver microshimmers to give the polish dimension.
I used Glisten & Glow Ridge filling base coat, two coats of polish and finished with Glisten & Glow top coat. I was really amazed at how opaque the first coat was but used a second coat to cover any small bald spots I had missed the first time. Using a ridge filling base coat is new for me and you have to make sure it dries completely before polishing or the polish won't stick.
My nails have gotten so long already! I haven't decided what to do about my shape yet. I really like nubbins but I also like squoval. My ideal shape is what The Nailasaurus has. This polish is a great little addition and has a great price point at only $6 for 10 mL. It is 5 free, vegan and cruelty free so great for those who only support CF brands.
