The finale in the Ciate London Gelology collection is forbidden fruit, a color shifting oil sick of red and green. I thought I was just bored with this color combination but I ended up actually wearing this as a full manicure to work!
I started with a base coat of Morgan Taylor REACT Max Optical Brightener, three coats of polish and finished with Glisten & Glow top coat. The formula was excellent but it did have a little bit of brush strokes that were intermixed with the shimmer in the end.
When just spot on, you see mostly the red/magenta but look at the edges of my middle finger specifically - it's glowing green! I couldn't stop flexing my fingers to see the color shift because it was just so pretty in real life.
Here's a pretty extreme angle so you can see some of that granny smith green coming through. This was perfect on my nubbins and I loved wearing it!
