Next up in the Paint It Black Halloween collection of China Glaze is Ash & Burn, this crazy mix of black and orange glitters in a black base. This reminds me a lot of Smoke & Ashes from the Capitol Colours/Hunger Games collection that came out back in 2012. While the bottle didn't wow me, I was really impressed with the outcome.
I started with Morgan Taylor React MAX Optical Brightener and then two thin coats of polish. I finished it off with Glisten & Glow top coat. The formula on this one was rather runny and I had to do extra brush wipes on the neck of the bottle because it would just pool on my nails. Additionally, even with top coat, my nails were slightly textured.
This polish literally glows from within. Because it's microglitter, it removed cleanly without issue. There's even a few pops of silver microglitter in there to add depth.
