Happy Monday! The Morgan Taylor Summer 2019 Rocketman collection showed up on my doorstep Friday, and I am in some serious need of bright polishes so I actually pushed my scheduled post back a week so I can bring these to you hot of the presses! First up is Glow Like A Star, a yellow creme.
I started with Morgan Taylor ReactMAX Optical Brightener, 3 coats of polish and finished with Glisten & Glow top coat. I almost had this polish fully opaque in 2 coats but I ended up using 3 thin coats on all nails. I just recently chopped my nails and normally when I do that, I buff them too and I didn't buff this time around. It would be interesting to see if buffing made two coats more opaque but that's for another day.
This is definitely a HAPPY yellow! It's not neon so it doesn't sear your eyes but it's not a butter yellow either. This reminds me more of a straight up yellow highlighter and I pretty much love it. I never thought I'd be one for yellow nails but this makes me happy.
