Remember when metallic polish was all the rage? I wanted a little bit of everything especially because it was just so shiny like liquid metal. Today's Sally Hansen named Petal To The Metal is a rose pink metallic with tons of shimmer.
The Insta-Dri collection is a 3-in-1 formula so no base coat or top coat is needed. The brand claims that it's a 1 coat polish that dries in 60 seconds. I think one coat would have done it with this polish but I did use two thin coats to be safe. The second coat was definitely more runny and I had to wipe my brush a lot and clean up afterwards.
While this would have SO stayed on my shelf about 5 years ago, right now I'm just not feeling metallics so it's heading to the Purge Pile. I do really love the retro vibe though - this is definitely a color my mom would have worn.
