When my nails are long, I don't care for dark colors. However, I just went for a huge nail chop after an incident with a razor so I figured now is the time to get my vampy colors out of the way. Today I have Sally Hansen Midnight Drive, a dark inky blue polish with a slight shimmer.
The Insta-Dri collection is a 3-in-1 formula so no base coat or top coat is needed. The brand claims that it's a 1 coat polish that dries in 60 seconds. The first coat was a little watery in a few places so I ended up going with 2 thin coats. I also used Glisten & Glow top coat because I was in a rush to get to work and didn't want to smudge before I got there.
Now, this is 3 days of tip wear and real life here. I had a hard time not getting polish all over the place when I was polishing but clean up was easy. However, I have to be honest, I had some blue staining on my nails afterwards. I'm working on whiting them back up for my nail manicure. This is headed to the Purge Pile.
