This was the first year since Morgan Taylor's launch that I didn't get to meet up at Cosmoprof North America and see what the girls had in store. While I was definitely sad, I did have a bright spot (literally!) when the new Illusions 2019 collection showed up! These 6 shades all have a duo-chrome finish as you can see in the bottle above. Today I'm wearing Oh So Shifty, a green to blue duo-chrome.
I started with Morgan Taylor ReactMAX Optical Brightener, then two coats of polish and finished with Glisten & Glow top coat. I wasn't sure if this would be opaque in 2 coats but I was happy that it was.
As with many duo-chromes, I couldn't get the full shift to show up on camera, especially with my nubbins. The light green is really the main player here and the blue only shows up at extreme angles. You can also see a lot of brush strokes which is typical with chromes.
