Alright fam, we're getting down to the final 3 in the Morgan Taylor winter 2019 Champagne and Moonbeams collection. Now I'll be honest that I saved these three for last because typically, these aren't my favorite colors. However, I was determined to get this 12 piece swatched with my long nails, so here we go. Today is Shooting Star and while this is listed as a "chocolate pearl" (wut), I'm definitely calling it a brown metallic.
Staring off with Morgan Taylor REACTmax Optical Brightener, 2 coats of polish and finishing with cuccio high gloss top coat. I'm having some bald spot issues with my middle finger and I think I need to buff my nails out.
Okay, so do you see why I'm calling this more of a metallic? I just don't really see "pearl" finish in this. There's also a lot of purple and red undertones which does make this more of a rich chocolate color instead of just brown.
