Only two left in the Morgan Taylor winter 2019 Champagne and Moonbeams collection and today is an indigo pearl called A Starry Night. Now, I think this would have been super beautiful with an accent nail of Sprinkle of Twinkle but I'm rearranging my nail polishes (again? yes again), I had already put that polish up in its drawer.
Started with Morgan Taylor REACTmax Optical Brightener, 2 coats of polish and finished with cuccio high gloss top coat. I was actually really impressed with this formula - it's opaque in one stoke and I only added a second thin coat to make sure my sidewalls were covered. No flooding or staining either.
So I joked yesterday that I didn't think Shooting Star was a chocolate pearl and today's A Starry Night is listed as an indigo pearl but I do feel this polish is more "pearl" like than a metallic or shimmer. I definitely prefer darker colors on short nails for myself but this doesn't look half bad!
