When I heard that cuccio's Spring 2021 collection was called Kittens and Canines, I was all here for the puns. This natural tones was a heartfelt tribute to some of best friends of the pandemic... our pets! Today I have Are You Kitten Me? which is a soft pink creme. Think like grey with a drop of red because it's a super super super pale color yet opaque!
I started with ella + mila Cover Your Bases ridge filling base coat, 3 coats of polish and finished with cuccio High Gloss top coat. Because this is so close to white, I did go with three coats of polish to be completely opaque but I may have been able to get away with two.
Do you see the pink? I promise it is there. If you put this against a white, you can tell. It reminds me of paint swatches at the store and you're like "omg, there are a million shades of white". Yep, this is one of them. It's a great alternative to a stark white and well, I'm here for the puns.
If you saw my Instagram Stories, I decided to attempt some paw prints. Don't come at me. - this was just a quick deal with a dotting tool. My first attempt was way too small and I didn't have enough polish on the tool and dented the paint on my nail. You'll see Fur-ocious soon as a full manicure.
