Back when I started my blog, Rescue Beauty Lounge was one brand that I always had my eye on. It was very lux, and a bit out of my price range at $20 a bottle. I recently had to move my Helmers out and decided to randomly open a drawer and see what I found. The result is Rescue Beauty Lounge Aqua Lily, a light turquoise with pink shimmer. I was obsessed with this color when it came out because it reminded me of succulents. This was from the Spring 2012 Fan Collection and was inspired by Kaydi-Kat.
I started with duri Rejuvacote, 2 coats of polish and finished with cuccio High Gloss top coat. The formula is still decent but the color is a little more green than I remember. (Another polish in this line has faded from purple to pink.)
I wish the pink shimmer was more obvious but oh well. This color was a bit of a stainer and I didn't even have it on long, so I'm going to be adding it to my blog sale pile. This has been a great way to see what I really like and what was just a lemming of the time.
