So why am I in such a blue mood? Honestly, I've always loved blue just as much as I love purple but they really didn't have blue nail polish when I was a kid. I love how blue looks on nails and it helps that my alma mater's is blue so I justify all my purchases. Today I have Morgan Taylor West Coast Cool, which is a neon electric blue.
I started with Morgan Taylor REACTmax Optical Brightener base coat, 2 coats of polish, and finished with cuccio High Speed Top Coat. Even though it's a neon, it didn't really dry down to matte but I always love adding top coat to make my manicures last longer.
This is a great blue that I really enjoyed wearing and want to pull it back out again soon. One small downside - this one is a little bit of a stainer. Next time, I'll probably use a ridge filling base coat to keep the staining down.
