Today is my last Insta-Dri Matte polishes that I was sent and I was most excited for this one - Burnished Wine. This is a "1-stroke, 1 coat" polish that leaves you with a matte metallic finish in 60 seconds. In the bottle, it's a beautiful plum purple with holographic sparkles.
I prepped my nails with Zoya Remove+ and added one coat to each nail. I didn't do 1 stroke as some of my nails are wider than the brush but I didn't use a base or top coat.
This is such a downer with just one coat. However, to be fair, I did use 3 coats on a swatch stick and it builds up beautifully to look just like the bottle so this is one of those "Don't listen to the instructions" time. Also, on my swatch stick, I used top coat which brought out the sparkles even more. This is definitely not a 1 coat polish.
