'Ard As Nails Cheshire Cat

One of my favorite parts of being in the Pookie's Polish Swap is that I've been introduced to so many new-to-me brands of indie polishes. Today I have 'Ard As Nails from the UK and this is Cheshire Cat, which was part of the BeauTeafully Polished Box for June 2023. This is a purple thermal packed with flakies of all colors.

I started with Morgan Taylor REACTmax in Original, 4 coats of polish, and finished with cuccio High Gloss top coat. Because of the balance of flakies, the first coat was so thin that I was concerned if it would ever get opaque. I might have gotten away with 3 coats but I went with 4 just to be safe. 

I actually didn't know that this was a thermal until I was taking photographs. You can see the cold state on the very tips of my nails - it's a darker purple but hard to capture. I'm not a huge thermal person so this will go back into my swap box. This was a limited edition polish and is not for sale anymore.
