Today I have yet another new-to-me brand but not entirely. Before she was Monarch Lacquer, she was half of Fair Maiden, a brand I definitely loved. Today I have Fish Food from her Mix-It-Monday series. These are limited run bottles that are made on Monday, named by her followers, and then sold that week (if I understand correctly). This is an interesting pale green crelly with lots of blue shimmer and blue-to-purple flakies.
I started with Morgan Taylor REACTmax in Original, 3 coats of polish, and finished with cuccio High Gloss top coat. This polish is pretty sheer on the base to let all the shimmer and flakies stand out.
It's definitely interesting and does remind me of Betta fish food. I didn't care for the yellow undertones the polish was giving me, so this will get traded on. This polish is no longer for sale.
