I'm trying another new indie brand today! This one is Death Valley Nails Spoiled Milk, and it's a photochromatic/solar polish. Unfortunately, I didn't know that until later when I was looking to learn more about the brand. This is a white based polish with gold flakes and gold shimmer but in the sun, it turns a light grey.
I started with Morgan Taylor REACTmax in Original, 3 coats of polish and finished with cuccio High Gloss top coat. I did not know that the bronze cap was decorative and almost smashed my bottle on the floor when I first picked it up. Thankfully, it landed in a bag by my desk.
This polish looked familiar to me, but I couldn't place my finger on it. I wished I had known it was a solar when I put it on, but it's also been a little overcast here. Additionally, this did dry matte, so I added a top coat to smooth everything out.
