KBShimmer Grand Prospect Holo

My kids all went back to school today (not a year round school) so I'm wearing an amazing KBShimmer blue-purple duochrome holographic glitter polish from PolishCon NYC 2017 Grand Prospect Holo

KBShimmer Teal Another Tail

Today I have a KBShimmer from Fall 2013 called Teal Another Tail. This is a beautiful dusty teal green with pink shimmer. When Christy made this, she said it reminded her of a mermaid tail.

KBShimmer Dust In The Bottle

I'm a sucker for holographic glitter top coat like KBShimmer Dust In The Bottle from the Summer 2015 collection. Mine has seen a little evaporation over the years but it's still pretty and applies easily.

KBShimmer What Are You Wading For?

Today I have KBShimmer What Are You Wading For? a denim blue holographic polish from Summer 2015. This color is unique for sure, but how did it wear after 8 years of sitting in my home?

KBShimmer Purr-fectly Paw-some

I do love a good polish pun and today I have KBShimmer Purr-fectly Paw-some, a light metallic blue holographic polish from Spring 2016 collection.

KBShimmer Kerrie

Back in 2019, KBShimmer announced her Pretty Revenge Duo, and I immediately bought it. I reviewed Jordana back in 2020 but hadn't worn the counterpart, Kerrie, until now. This is a vibrant red with holographic glitter that does try down matte but I'm all about the top coat.

KBShimmer We Make Your Dreams Come Blue

Nothing To Disclose

I really do miss the days of PolishCon. I got to visit some new places and really be in the presence of other polish lovers. Today I have KBShimmer We Make Your Dreams Come Blue from the 2017 NYC PolishCon. This is a unique polish for me with an icy blue base that shifts to light violet, shimmer, and holographic microflakes.

KBShimmer Big Apple Of My Eye

One of the hard parts about going through my older indie polishes is that there are some amazing ones that are no longer available for sale like today's KBShimmer Big Apple Of My Eye. This was a 2017 Road to PolishCon that is a jelly candy apple red with holographic and red glitter.

KBShimmer That's Nude To Me

Nothing To Disclose

When I originally bought That's Nude To Me by KBShimmer, I was in a real neutral phase. This polish came out in Summer 2016 but the collection itself was a huge mash of foils, cremes, shimmers and crellies. I just felt this fit me best at the time.

KBShimmer Sun & Games

My alma mater's colors are blue and gold so when I saw KBShimmer Sun & Games, I knew I wanted it for game day. This is a bright gold with holographic glitter from the 2015 Summer Collection.

KBShimmer Cubicle Pusher

Nothing To Disclose

I'm having a bit of an identity crisis because I realize I have a LOT of purple polishes but I don't wear them enough! Today I have KBShimmer Cubicle Pusher from the Office Space collection. This is a muted purple with a subtle holographic.

KBShimmer Supplies Party

Back in early 2017, I bought KBShimmer Supplies Party, from the Office Space collection. This was listed as a warm creme with metallic flakes and holo sparkle - much like their birthstone collection that I loved.

KBShimmer Color Me Rad

Nothing To Disclose

There's something about neons that just make me happy. Today I have KBShimmer Color Me Rad, a neon orange-red with pink undertones. This was part of the "All The Bright Moves" collection.

KBShimmer Jordana

I love rainbow holographic glitter. When KBShimmer announced her Pretty Revenge Duo, I immediately bought it. Jordana is a silver rainbow reflective holographic glitter with a hint of gold.

KBShimmer Hashtag You're It!

Nothing To Disclose

I can't believe it's already April! This year is definitely going by fast but I feel like I say that every year. I'm trying to balance my blog out with indies and mainstream again especially as I go through and purge my polishes so today I have KBShimmer Hashtag You're It! from the Summer 2017 Summer Vacation Collection. This is a grape purple polish with holo glow flakes (silver?) that has a duochrome that looks sometimes more red, sometimes more blue. Mind blown yet?

KBShimmer Breaking Blues

Nothing To Disclose

The other day, my awesome son (who turns 4 in May) decided to grab a bottle of nail polish off my desk and paint all over himself, my keyboard, my desk and a bit on the floor. It prompted me to clear off my desk and I realized I have over 50 just cluttering up here so I'm on a mission to get all the polish off my desk. Today I grabbed KBShimmer Breaking Blues which was in a mystery pack that I purchased from their website. This is a periwinkle blue creme.

China Glaze Pret-A-Potion

Press Sample

Woo it's time! While my oldest is a tad old for Trick or Treating and my youngest is too young, it still means I'm going to eat all the Reeses Peanut Butter Cups I can find. Let's share the final shade of the Paint It Black collection with Pret-A-Potion. This is a black microglitter in a clear base, best worn as a topper.

KBShimmer High-rise To The Occasion

Nothing To Disclose

The KBShimmer Blogger Collections have definitely been fun to watch over the years, and this past Fall 2017, one especially caught my eye! Created with Michelle from Ehmkay Nails, High-rise To The Occasion starts with light grey crelly base has rainbow flakies and violet shimmer. The shimmer makes the polish almost looks lilac in low light which makes me super happy.

KBShimmer Northern Frights

Nothing To Disclose

If you've been reading my blog for awhile, you know that BeautyJudy is one of my best friends and I met her through blogging. So when she told me that she was going to be having a collaboration with KBShimmer, I was jumping for joy.

The Polish Convention NYC Spring 2017

Nothing To Disclose

Hey everyone! Sorry it's been so quiet on my end. I had been focusing more of my attention to social media, especially Instagram because last month, I went to NYC for PolishCon! While there, I got to watch over 34 brands do their hustle to sell beautiful multichrome, holo, creme, and glittery polishes to over 650 people who walked through the doors of the Grand Prospect Hall.
