Morgan Taylor Varsity Jacket Blues

Morgan Taylor didn't always have the flat paddle brush and today's color, Varsity Jacket Blues, from the Casual Cool 2014 collection, is one with the round brush. I find it so much harder for me personally to apply with a round brush but I make it work. This is a medium light blue that does not have any green tint to it.

ella + mila plead the fifth

Another blue for today - this is more of a robin's egg blue. Today I have ella + mila plead the fifth from the Birthday collection. This definitely leans more green than blue to me especially when I'm looking at everything blue on my desk.

Morgan Taylor Gaston And On And On

I really have enjoyed wearing Morgan Taylor polishes especially with the wide brush they have. Today I have Gaston And On And On, which is a baby blue creme from the Beauty and the Beast collection that came out in 2017.

Cupcake Polish Owl Always Love You

Nothing To Disclose

I'm definitely in my blue era and seeing what I love and what needs to go to a new home. Today I have Cupcake Polish Owl Always Love You from the 2016 Fall Fancies collection. This baby blue with a linear holographic finish did not want to come out and play in my lightbox.

Morgan Taylor Making Waves

Press Sample

I've been going through a blue phase with nails. First, it was a red phase, and now it's blue. Today I have Morgan Taylor Making Waves, which is a rich royal blue that dries down matte. This polish came out in 2014 as part of the Island Treasures collection, but I got it as part of a sample pack of polishes from Morgan Taylor in a beautiful acrylic box as a press package. Additionally, Gelish has a color also named Making Waves, but it has a blue shimmer to it and this is a straight creme.

Sally Hansen Pacific Blue

Nothing To Disclose

In today's TikTok "NPC Live" world, I find myself missing the simpler days of blogging, especially when I find my bottle of Sally Hansen Pacific Blue, a beautiful blue creme. This was THE color to wear back in the day, and when Sally Hansen reformulated the color, the world went mad. Not really, but it was a sad day for several of the OG Nail Girls and Guys who really adored this color. I even tried to buy the last of the original bottles before my local stores got the new version but now I can't find those bottles either.

KBShimmer We Make Your Dreams Come Blue

Nothing To Disclose

I really do miss the days of PolishCon. I got to visit some new places and really be in the presence of other polish lovers. Today I have KBShimmer We Make Your Dreams Come Blue from the 2017 NYC PolishCon. This is a unique polish for me with an icy blue base that shifts to light violet, shimmer, and holographic microflakes.

Digital Nails Distant Nuclear Fusion

Nails always make me happy. I can wear any color and just enjoy. Today I have Digital Nails Distant Nuclear Fusion, a deep blue holographic polish.

Anchor & Heart Wicked Good Blueberries

I love that Anchor & Heart is located in Maine, where my husband's family lives. I bought Wicked Good Blueberries during PolishCon but haven't had the chance to wear it until now! It's this beautiful lavender blue crelly with blue to purple shifting shimmer.

Vapid. Ride or Die 2019

Today I have Vapid. Ride or Die 2019. This was originally a one time release in 2016 but then came back once in 2019. This polish is a purple to cyan/aqua super holo much like D.A.B, Cyber Punk, and is listed as one of their Saturated Holographic Chameleon Chrome shades.

China Glaze Grover It

Only two more polishes from China Glaze "You Do Hue" 2019 collection with Sesame Street. Today is Grover It, which is a rainbow reflective and blue glitter in a blue-tinted base.

China Glaze Dat Color Dough

China Glaze is playing with my heart. So I'm almost finished with the "You Do Hue" 2019 collection with Sesame Street. When I wore Free To Be Sesame, I was so excited. So when I saw Dat Color Dough, which is a blue glitter in a clear base, I thought it was going to be the same pay off.

Great Lakes Lacquer Like Air, I'll Rise

I definitely feel like I'm in a time warp with these 2017 polishes and Great Lakes Lacquer Like Air, I'll Rise reminded me of everything good. This is a multi-chrome holographic polish that has purple, gold, teal and green flashes.

Cupcake Polish Bat-chelor Pad

I finally went through one drawer of my Helmers and I pulled all the polishes out. I separated them in two piles... ones that I had swatch sticks for and ones that I had swatch sticks for and I had blogged about. Now I'm going through the swatch sticks without blogging and first up today is Cupcake Polish Bat-chelor Pad from the Fall 2015 Modern Vampire Collection.

Tonic Peacock Parade

One of the OGs in the indie world for amazing duochrome (which is more like crazy-million chrome) is Tonic Peacock Parade. You can easily see the blue and purple on the nail but there's so much more going on in this polish as you can see above.

OPI Polka.com

When I first saw OPI Polka.com from Summer 2013 Euro Centrale collection, I couldn't wait to wear it. I was obsessed with this teal and fuchsia hexagonal glitter with purple microglitter in a clear base.

Polish My Life Magic & Mystery on Broadway

Nothing To Disclose

Back when polish conventions were thriving, I had the opportunity to go to PolishCon NYC in 2017 and one of the VIP polishes in the bag I purchased was from Polish My Life. This is Magic & Mystery On Broadway, and as you can tell above, sadly, this polish has faded since I got in 6 years ago.

Sally Hansen Hypnautical

Nothing To Disclose

Back in 2013, Sally Hansen announced their Triple Shine line, and one polish that caught my eye was Hypnautical, a blue and green shred glitter in a slightly green tinted base. At only $4.99, I hunted this down until I was able to find it at my local drugstore.

Rescue Beauty Lounge 360

My last Rescue Beauty Lounge polish that I had to check if I still wanted to keep or purge is 360, which was originally a muted blue but might is straight up dark turquoise now. I don't know if it faded or what. This was from Spring 2010 collection so it is 13 years old.

Rescue Beauty Lounge Aqua Lily

Nothing To Disclose

Back when I started my blog, Rescue Beauty Lounge was one brand that I always had my eye on. It was very lux, and a bit out of my price range at $20 a bottle. I recently had to move my Helmers out and decided to randomly open a drawer and see what I found. The result is Rescue Beauty Lounge Aqua Lily, a light turquoise with pink shimmer. I was obsessed with this color when it came out because it reminded me of succulents. This was from the Spring 2012 Fan  Collection and was inspired by Kaydi-Kat.
