Painted Polish Freedom & Firecrackers

Nothing To Disclose

Going through my nail polish collection is definitely like a time warp. Today I have a beauty that I bought in 2017 from Painted Polish called Freedom & Fireworks. This was a fuchsia red polish with a gorgeous scattered holographic.

Digital Nails Allons-y!

Nothing To Disclose

I own a lot of holographic polishes but it's always sad when I realize the polish I'm pulling is from a brand that's moved on in the world. That's what happened to Digital Nails but I have Allons-y! a grey-holographic polish. I believe Allons-y is from Doctor Who but I hadn't watched it before.

Girly Bits Walk on the Wild Side

Pulling another PolishCon NYC 2017 polish today. This is Girly Bits Walk on the Wild Side which was a limited edition polish available at the convention and then again on her site a few weeks later. As you can tell from my swatch stick, this was an apple red polish with gold flakes and holographic glitter. However, in the last 6 years, this polish has faded into an orange polish.

Different dimension The Eagle Has Landed

Nothing To Disclose

I love purple polishes - I can't help it! So when Different Dimension released The Eagle Has Landed from the Cosmologically Speaking Part 3 Collection, it was in my hands soon after.

Digital Nails Purple Reign

Nothing To Disclose

Digital Nails was an indie brand from Austin, Texas, that I absolutely loved. I got to meet the owner once, and she is just the nicest person. I placed several orders from her and one of my favorites was Purple Reign, a Barney-like purple with scattered holographic.

Vapid. Cyber Punk

Nothing To Disclose

I forgot how many Vapid. polishes I actually own so when I grabbed Cyber Punk from my box of swatched polishes, I fell in love all over again. Cyber Punk was a one-time release in 2017 listed as a saturated holographic ultra chameleon chrome shade. (Say that 3 times fast!) It has purple, gold, green, and lots of holo goodness.

Cupcake Polish Bat-chelor Pad

I finally went through one drawer of my Helmers and I pulled all the polishes out. I separated them in two piles... ones that I had swatch sticks for and ones that I had swatch sticks for and I had blogged about. Now I'm going through the swatch sticks without blogging and first up today is Cupcake Polish Bat-chelor Pad from the Fall 2015 Modern Vampire Collection.

Great Lakes Lacquer Brooklyn Shenanigans

Nothing To Disclose

I really miss the fun of conventions but PolishCon NYC 2017 was especially a fun time for me. One of the limited editions polished I purchased was Great Lakes Lacquer Brooklyn Shenanigans, which is this intense red-purple duochorome with scattered holographic properties.

Cupcake Polish Berry Good Looking

Nothing To Disclose

If you think this polish sounds familiar on this blog, that's because it is! Back in 2018, I wrote about Cupcake Polish Berry Good Looking and Plant Parenthood as both being faders that I had picked up. Since then, Sara had replaced my Berry Good Looking but I put in a drawer and it sat there way too long. Today, I pulled it out and wore it as a full manicure.

Color Club Harp On It

Nothing To Disclose

Happy Valentine's Day! Today I have one of my favorite polishes from Color Club called Harp On It. This is a silver linear holographic from the Halo Hues collection.

Girly Bits What Happens In Vegas....ends up on FaceBook

Nothing To Disclose

I'm pulling more polishes from my personal stash that I ended up making swatch sticks for but never wore or blogged about. Today is Girly Bits What Happens in Vegas...ends up on FaceBook. This polish was given to bloggers who attended Cosmoprof North America in 2013 (my third year!). I was also brought back for a limited time in 2013 but quickly sold out.

Love, Angeline SBP Holo 1

Nothing To Disclose

I was talking with my best friend about how I finally got the motivation to blog again and that if I posted every day, I would have enough content for the next six years. Yes, y'all. I have a lot of nail polish. I normally don't post on the weekends, but I just have SO MUCH POLISH, that I decided why not. Maybe I'll even start posting twice a day. However, because I'm posting "out of order," my nails are super short right now from yesterday's post. I had a traumatic break on my index, realized another nail was split, and both my thumbnails had broken so I just cut everything to nubbins. Today I pulled Love, Angeline SBP (Small Batch Prototype) Holo 1 which is a yellow-based grey with scattered holo.

ILNP Tombstone

Nothing To Disclose

There have been a few brands over the years that I absolutely obsess over and want to own every single color that's released. ILNP is one of those brands and they consistently put out winners. Today I have Tombstone from their Haunted Collection 2021. This is a bone grey with copper metallic flakes and scattered holographic glitter.

China Glaze Cowboy, Bye

Happy Wednesday! Today I have Cowboy, Bye from the Gone West Fall 2019 China Glaze collection. This is a brown based, copper shimmer, with holographic microglitter.

China Glaze Gold Mine Your Business

Press Sample

I'm heading back into the China Glaze "Gone West" Fall 2019 collection and today I'm wearing Gold Mine Your Business, an antique gold with holographic microglitter.

China Glaze Pathological Liar Liar

I'm finishing out the "To Catch a Colour" Halloween 2019 collection from China Glaze and this orange color with micro rainbow reflective glitter was looking super promising. This is Pathological Liar Liar.

China Glaze Monsterpiece

Press Sample

It's been over two years since I wrote about China Glaze. It's funny how this was MY BRAND when I got into the beauty blog world... so much so that I wanted to call my blog "China Glaze Galore." There's a lot that this brand did for me, and did right. They will always have a place in my heart. Today I'm wearing Monsterpiece from the China Glaze x Sesame Street "You Do Hue" collection that came out in Fall 2019. This is a pink scattered holo with a touch of berry.

cuccio Dance, Dance, Dance

Hello dear friends! Sorry I disappeared again. My husband and I both contracted COVID-19 (he got it while at work from a coworker) and while we weren't hospitalized, we were very sick for a couple of weeks. We are now on the mend and hoping to get back to work very soon. One of the things I wanted to do to celebrate being able to get out of bed was paint my nails! I just recently nubbinized them because they got super long and I didn't have the energy to shape them so I just chopped them off. I really have preferred no nails this past year especially when typing. This is cuccio Dance, Dance, Dance from the Soiree Collection which was their winter 2019. I have been trying to get all my cuccio's swatched so I can get them into my Helmer and out of my living room.

KBShimmer Jordana

I love rainbow holographic glitter. When KBShimmer announced her Pretty Revenge Duo, I immediately bought it. Jordana is a silver rainbow reflective holographic glitter with a hint of gold.

ILNP Say Love

Nothing To Disclose

What a year it's been! I wanted to go out with some stunning Christmas type color so I grabbed ILNP Say Love, a red holo with microflakes. This is one of those that you never realize how amazing it is until it's on!

I started with Morgan Taylor ReactMAX Optical Brightener and went with 3 thin coats of polish. I could have probably only used 2 but it's been a hot minute since I've painted my nails and I'm shaky. I finished with Glisten and Glow top coat.

So my camera may be at the end of its life. I can't seem to take steady photos anymore, even when my camera is sitting stationary. I think part of it was damaged during the robbery but I just haven't wanted to make the change to a new camera yet.

However, this polish is amazing, seriously. It's got holo, it's got flakies, it's got magic.

You can purchase ILNP on their website. For more on ILNP, be sure to following their various social media platforms: TwitterYouTubeInstagramPinterest, and Facebook.
