I pulled another Shimmer polish today - this is Kim, and it's a blue, purple, and silver glitter bomb. My base is tinted blue now but I'm pretty sure it was a clear base originally. I bought this polish because my Mom's name was Kim.

Lime Crime Lavendairy

Here's the other Lime Crime that was hiding in my Helmer. This is Lavendairy which is a lilac purple creme. This polish also dries matte but top coat brings out the shine.

BLUSH Lacquers The Turn

I pulled another oldie but goodie from my Helmer today. This is BLUSH Lacquers The Turn, which was part of the Magician's Trick limited edition trio. It has a plum base with brown shimmer and scattered holo and was from PolishCon 2017.

KBShimmer Claws and Effect

I also found this polish in my stash, but I forgot I got it in 2015 from the KBShimmer Winter/Holiday collection. Claws and Effect is a dark purple-leaning navy holo polish with blue/pink shifting glass flakes. I originally thought it was a straight holographic purple polish!

Rescue Beauty Lounge Scrangie

Today I have Rescue Beauty Lounge Scrangie, which was from the original Blogger Collection by Rescue Beauty Lounge back in the day. It was released in July 2009, and I quickly bought it because the Scrangie blog was one of my gateways into nail polish blogging. The blog ended in 2014, but the blogger is now known as Sam and uses he/him pronouns. Additionally, my polish has sadly faded.

Zoya Venus

This is the final color in the trio from the February Color of the Month, Kismet. This is Venus, and on the website, it says it's a sparkling rose red. However my bottle was very much purple.

I'm jumping back to the February Color of the Month, Kismet. This is Ono, and it's a dark berry magenta creme with a tiny hit of berry undertone. I feel like this is more fall than spring.

This is the last creme from the trio from the January Color of the Month, Yuki. This is Abby, and it's a light lavender creme. I really love this color and it reminds me of the purple I wore for my wedding.

Today I have Tonic #Chibound, which was originally a PolishCon limited edition color. This is a deep glowing royal blue with blue-purple multichrome pigment and blue-purple shimmer.

Girly Bits V.I.Polish IEC 2017

In 2017, I went to IEC—Indie Expo Canada—in Toronto, Canada. It was my first time in Canada and my first time traveling internationally by myself. I was so excited to go and really enjoyed my time. Today I'm sharing Girly Bits V.I.Polish IEC 2017, which was originally a medium denim blue with blue and silver flakes, holo and blue shimmer. Mine has faded quite a bit to a dark blue and the shimmer switches from blue to purple in different lights.

I bought another Glisten & Glow today because it's a beautiful purple holographic - my favorite. This is Wench's Wardrobe, a blackened purple navy holographic that has a tiny bit of green shimmer from the 2016 Pirate's Booth collection.

Today I have a one-of-a-kind polish from Glisten & Glow called A Daughter's Love. This was part of a three-part collection made for me from Jill at Glisten & Glow and Melissa at The Daily Nail after my father died. This is a glitter bomb of pink, purple, and blue glitters in a clear base.

I mean, if we're going to talk PolishCon Chicago 2017, might as well pull out Great Lakes Lacquer Meet Me At Shedd - the PolishCon exclusive. This is a pale blue with shimmery blue and green multichrome flakes that shift purple. There's also microshimmer in green and blue.

I am throwing it back to PolishCon Chicago 2017 today with Great Lakes Lacquer Chicago Shenanigans. I am trying to organize my Helmers, and I have polishes EVERYWHERE.
