China Glaze Poolside

Please enjoy the official press release from China Glaze on their Summer 2010 Collection - Poolside!

Lounging poolside, sipping on a drink and reading the latest magazine…makes you think of Summer doesn’t it? The only thing missing is that perfect manicure and pedicure! Dip into the summer with some of the brightest and most amazing neons from the China Glaze Poolside collection! Perfect for fingers, and especially the toes, nothing says Summer of 2010 like a couple coats of bright polish! The 6 colors in the Poolside collection include:

* Pool Party: Neon Pink
* Flip Flop Fantasy: Neon Coral
* Sun Worshipper: Neon Orange
* Yellow Polka Dot Bikini: Neon Yellow
* Kiwi Cool-Ada: Neon Green
* Towel Boy Toy: Neon Blue

    As for most neons, these tend to finish drying on the matte side…But no fear, getting that gorgeous shine is only a top coat away! Try China Glaze Patent Leather Top Coat. Once you get a look at your China Glaze neon nails glimmering underwater and in the sun, you’re never going to want to take these polishes off!

    China Glaze Poolside launches April 1, 2010, for international and domestic.

    *Please note that like most neon polishes, the first layer will look extremely opaque and thin. You will need to build up to desired coverage and always remember to let each layer dry completely before applying the next. This will help prevent streaks and missing patches of color on the nail bed.

    China Glaze [official website] can be found online through several etailers, including my favorite Head2Toe Beauty [official website], Sally's Beauty Supply [official website] as well asTransDesign [official website].

    Seche Giveaway!

    So B from Seche Vite and I have been having a friendly war of the colors.  She is a fan of the corals but I've been trying to get her to jump out into the crazy colors.  She actually wore Grape Pop from the Up & Away China Glaze collection, so I told her if she wore Shower Together (a blue), I'd have a Seche giveaway.  Well, she used Flying High instead, and she put it on her toes instead of her tips, but it's good enough for me ^___^  Please also check out Seche's Twitter [official Twitter] and become a follower!

    I'm still alive!

    I haven't forgotten about my pretties just yet!  For some silly reason, we're stuck in winter.  Now for South Texas, where I live, this is WEIRD.  I don't understand this whole rain, fog, cold thing.  I had on a LOVELY blue yesterday from the China Glaze OMG! collection but with NO SUN, I couldn't capture the amazing color on camera.  :(

    Also I started the new job, and until I get myself an air card and my laptop packed up, I'm sitting all day, without real Internet (I have my iPhone!) and that makes me a sad panda.  I'll get to it though, I promise!

    And finally I need to pick up some lamps and a cheapo table so I can set up my light box that arrived 2 (?) weeks ago from Hong Kong.  I also need to iron the backdrop since it was squished into the cube at arrival.

    Great things are coming!  I know of one summer collection I'm getting to advance review, one really awesome line that is sending me some nifty polishes for review, and I think I have my hand in for a second summer collection, but I'm not 100% on that one yet - more emails need to be exchanged I think.  Ooh, and with that, I think I know what I'm going to paint my nails today.  If only I had sun!
