Zoya Sarah is one of 2 reds from the Flame 2010 Winter collection, listed as "possibly the prettiest sparkling red metallic ever!" Seriously, that's straight from the press release. Unlike China Glaze Ruby Pumps or any of the other red glitters, this has such a fine microglitter in it, and is actually listed as a metallic. Now, I asked the head fairy over at Zoya about the name on the bottle, which clearly says Sara, without the H. She replied that it was just a printing mistake and that all future bottles would include the H. (This was also later mentioned on their website for the release.) Sarah or Sara, this is a really pretty red.
I used a base of Zoya Anchor, only 1 fully opaque coat of Sarah, and a top of Zoya Armor. I'm still not in love with Zoya Armor - it dries too slowly for me, but because of the actual formula, Zoya polishes do not play well with Seche.
In the sun you can really see how pigmented this color is. There are going to be a LOT of reds this winter season, but this gives a bit of a metallic look to the classic red creme.
In the shade, you can see how it looks similar to a red glitter but unlike a glitter, this is much easier to remove - no scrubbing necessary.
Zoya [official website] can be purchased on their website for $7/bottle.

Zoya Gloria
Zoya Gloria is listed as a pink champagne sparkling metallic from the 2010 Winter "Flame" collection. It has the same finish as Tiffany and Crystal, which by the way were both opaque in their 2 coats. This is more of a rose pink to me, and I thought it would be a great color for someone like my mom but I also know I'll wear it in the future.
I used a base of Zoya Anchor, 2 coats of Gloria and a top coat of Zoya Armor. The formula was perfect, as has been this entire collection and the brush was very well behaved. I always forget to mention brushes - but Zoya has one of the best that fans out beautifully on the nail.
As you can see in the sun, there's that microglitter metallic effect going on - very pretty, but as always, this color really shines in the shade.
There is definitely some hint of gold in the polish as you can see in the bottle. Very nice color for going out, I'd think - not too muted but nothing really crazy out there. Another great winter color.

Later Today...
I'm going to have the other half of Zoya's Flame, including a comparison between the two reds in the collection, and I have a lot coming up in the coming weeks - more of Barielle's fall collection, the rest of Zoya's Wicked/Wonderful, a few pinks for Breast Cancer Awareness month, Chanel Paradoxal, the 3 MAC polishes from the Venomous Villains collection, Nightwish that I'm giving away in my giveaway, and I've been told that I'm going to be able to have another sponsored giveaway for my North America friends soon too! YAY! Stay tuned!
Giveaway Question: What is GFC?
I've gotten a few questions about "What is GFC?", "How do I do it?", etc. I assure you, it's super simple.
First, GFC stands for "Google Friend Connect". It's what shows me that you're following my blog. In my early days, I would just bookmark all the blogs I enjoyed reading, then open the bookmarked link on my Internet Browser. While it worked for me, it didn't show me as an official follower of the blog. Why are followers important? Well, while being in consideration for some companies for polish samples, press releases and reviews, they want to know how many people actually read your blog. I've had companies ask for me for my number of followers, I've had other companies ask for actual site stats (I've been using StatCounter since February 15, 2010).
The easiest way to find and join my GFC is straight on my blog's website (not available with most RSS readers). So log onto PolishGalore using the direct URL http://www.polishgalore.com.
Scroll down until you see this box on the right hand side of the page (please note you can click on my images to see them larger)
When you click the "Follow" button, you will have a pop up window appear.
Here you can start to follow Polish Galore through Google, Twitter, Yahoo!, AIM, Netlog, or OpenID. All these are free services, so you can sign up for one if you don't have one of these accounts already. I recommend either Google or Twitter only because I love Google (I used to work for one of their engineers), and Twitter because I absolutely am obsessed with Twitter. :) However, I also have Yahoo (it was my first email address back in 2001), and AIM (it was my first instant messaging program back in 1998), but I have not used Netlog or OpenID. (My GFC is "PolishGalore") Update: I've tried OpenID - it's not terrible but not my favorite.
I sure hope this helps everyone! You must be listed as a Follower to win in my giveaway. To find your GFC name, just refresh the page and your name will show under the Followers. Here is a screen shot of Scrangie's website, which I follow using GFC.
