Hey it's another China Glaze 2010 Winter Collection red! I was a tiny bit overwhelmed by having 4 reds but at the same time, they are all different. Phat Santa is listed as a red creme, but it applied really nice and squishy like a jelly. Good formula, but there was some VNL.
I used a base of Seche Natural, 2 coats of Phat Santa, and a top of Seche Vite. Squishy red coming up!
In the sun you can see my smile line (the white part of my nail) on my middle finger and pinkie. My pinkie had a trama so I had a little bit of blood seeped under my smile line, which you can see here. You can eliminate VNL by using a nude base color for your nails, or for a bright pop, a coat of white underneath.
SQUISH! In the shade, this color isn't as jelly like but still very smooth. I did not receive Ruby Deer to review, but will be purchasing one, but apparently Phat Santa is a shade darker. -squishy- Heh.

Mmmm reds. I do love reds. I didn't think I loved reds until I started wearing reds. There's something about red. Mommy Kissing Santa is one of a few reds from the new 'Tis the Season, also called "Naughty or Nice" China Glaze 2010 Winter Collection. It reminds me of a big shiny red Christmas ornament. I have to stop taking my pictures so late in the day - check out that 5 o'clock shadow.
I used a base coat of Seche Natural, 2 coats of Mommy Kissing Santa, and a top of Seche Vite. It's a very nice dark red shimmer. Very nice formula - not runny or thick.
In the sun you can see that it almost looks two toned but that's just my sun fading away. It was such a pleasant color to apply - very smooth formula.
In the shade it has such a smooth finish as well - like velvet or something. I really think this is a great color to wear for your Holiday Party or just even in the spring. Very happy with this one. I know it's not terrible original, but I can't think off hand of its dupe right now.

Oh geez, I absolutely love this color. China Glaze Sugar Plums from the 'Tis the Season to be naughty and nice collection (okay seriously? Longest name ever....) is listed simply as a plum shimmer but this is nothing but simple. Along the same lines of Grape Crush and Crystal Ball, this is a color with tons of tiny multiglitter, but isn't a holo. Actually, I'd LOVE for someone to do a Sugar Plums/Crystal Ball comparison! Anyway back to this.
I used a base of Seche Natural, 2 coats of Sugar Plums and a top coat of Seche Vite. I absolutely love this color and really didn't want to take it off. The formula was excellent and it was so super shiny.
Rawr - look at that dark plum goodness. In the sun, you don't see the glitter as much but it's just a nice vampy color.
Sadly the glitter is pretty gone in the shade as well but hold up, I got a sunny blurry shot.
BAM! Multicolored goodness. Mmmm. Love it! This is a must have color for me - have you picked up yours yet?

Howdy! Sorry for my break - I have a huge bunch of polish to post including the rest of this Barielle fall collection "Style in Argyle." Worst part is I have the pictures, I just need to edit and write the posts. Rawr!
This interesting color here is Unraveled Rust. Despite this weird yellow bottle color, this is actually a burnt rust creme, and you'll be able to tell better in the other pictures. I'm not sure why it shows up so yellow here - I even double checked my bottles to make sure I didn't mess up the pictures! I used a base of Seche Natural, 2 coats of Unraveled Rust and a top of Seche Vite. I did have a wonky brush on this bottle (boo) and I noticed that the formula was a little on the thick side. I needed quite a bit of cleanup afterwards.
Two different sun pictures here - you can see some of that weird yellow in the bottle, then a muddied brown rust color in the second picture and more of a darker red brown in the first. This is definitely a unique color.
In the shade, it's a very dark rust brown color - like I said, very unique. I can't think of another color I have like this in my collection but I'm going to keep looking. I was very impressed with the uniqueness of this color. UNIQUE. ^_^
