Jesse's Girl Fools Gold

I'm still not sold on golds but I have to say, I didn't mind wearing Jesse's Girl Fools Gold with its healthy dose of gold shimmer.  I used a base of Seche Natural, 2 coats of Fools Gold and topped it with Seche Vite.

Gold really doesn't flatter my hands much but it was a sharp way to look like a million bucks.

Slightly indirect sun here - my hands don't look quite as yellow this way.

Finally a shade picture - my hands look super normal in the shade, which is why I'm okay a bit more with gold than in the glaring sun (I love you sun!).  This would be a good pick up if you didn't get any of the gold shades this past winter.

The High Intensity polish line launches officially on 25 January on their website and the "prepacks" have already been spotted at Rite Aid stores.  They do provide free shipping on domestic orders over $20 and do ship internationally as well.  They even accept PayPal.

Jesse's Girl sells for $2.99 a bottle online or at Rite Aid stores. You can visit Jesse's Girl on their website, Like them on Facebook and Follow them on Twitter.

Jesse's Girl Wham Bam

SUN!  Sun sun sun sun SUN!!!!  Can you tell I'm in love with the fact that I have SUN!?!  Despite it being 47 degrees outside, I have sun.  Time for swatching!

Jesse's Girl Wham Bam is a tomato red jelly polish that applied like butter.  I did have a bit of VNL but it wasn't too bad to be honest!  I used a base of Seche Natural, 2 coats of Wham Bam and a top of Seche Vite.
Sun with blue skies.  Mmmmmm.  <3

Even in the shade this color just flat out pops.  Especially for the price, I would pick this up again in a heartbeat if you're looking for a hot red jelly.

China Glaze Sexy Silhouette

Let me tell you, this little devil of a polish does not like being photographed in the cloudy weather.  Additionally what's up with this picture looking like my bottle is floating?  I'm going to end up on PhotoshopDisasters or something.

China Glaze Sexy Silhouette is from the Fashion Lounge collection but mostly can be found in the Core Colors now at Sally's Beauty Supply.  I picked this up when China Glaze was having a buy 2 get 1 free sale because it was an interesting fuchsia like red with a slight purple shimmer in the bottle.

I used a base of Seche Natural, 2 coats of Sexy Silhouette and a top of Seche Vite.  The formula was good - not too runny or thick but after seeing my nails in the light, it's a bit sheer and not as opaque as I originally thought.  You can see some VNL (visible nail line) on some of my nails.

The sun makes this color almost look matte but I assure you, it's not.  You can also see all the ridges in my nails which I need to buff out.  You also may want to just use a plain ridge filler (there are several on the market).

Indirect sun here - you can start to see the VNL on my first two fingers and you can see a bit of that purple shimmer peeking through.

I felt like taking one picture indoors - I only use 6500K "natural" lights in my house so it most mimics the sun but you can see just a bit more fuchsia here and much more VNL.  Go figure.  Overall a nice color but I liked it better layered over grey.  ^_^

China Glaze [official website] can be found online through several etailers, including my favorite Head2Toe Beauty [official website], Sally's Beauty Supply [official website] as well asTransDesign [official website].
