China Glaze OMG For Sale!

Have you been wanting to buy OMG and others from this collection or from the Kalediscope collection but don't want to pay eBay fees or worry about who you're buying from?

Sisters April and Ashley from Concrete and Nail Polish has found a local place that sells these beauties so they are looking for those who want to buy these dusties or really, any China Glaze!  The owner of the store does prefer you to have the China Glaze number, but that's where I come into play!  Here on my spreadsheet, I list all the information you need for polishes (it's my organizational quark).

You'll need to go to April and Ashley's blog (link is above) to talk about international shipping, bulk shipping, etc.  So check them out!  Good day!

China Glaze Hey Sailor

Little fact - I live in a Naval town, and while we're not located near water, we do train Navy pilots.  Either way, I think it's hilarious to say Hey Sailor as often as possible when wearing this color.  Now I own a TON of red nail polishes, and a good chunk of them are China Glaze but this one takes the cake, seriously.

I used a base of Seche Natural, 1 coat of Hey Sailor (heeyyyyy) and a top coat of Seche Vite.  I'm calling this a jelly, because that's what it acted like for me.  However, after the OPI "sorbets", I'm really questioning what I think a jelly is...  Either way, I love this red.  Absolutely love.

I mean seriously, how hot is this?  It's really just bam, in your face.  This is what I wanted Revolution to be, but that needed more coats (and I just realized I haven't reviewed it for you before... it was in the first China Glaze I ever bought).

Even in the shade, this is just amazing.  I'm going to stop raving - it's just getting to be redundant.  (heh)

China Glaze [official website] can be found online through several etailers, including my favorite Head2Toe Beauty [official website], Sally's Beauty Supply [official website] as well asTransDesign [official website].

Blogs of Note

Oops!  I kind of forgot about this today!  Here are 3 more blogs now that it's Sunday afternoon (sorry!)

First is My Simply Little Pleasures.  I was following her before I had a blog and she has been dubbed the Queen of Water Marbles and with very good reason.  Not only does she have amazing ones, but she also does tutorials (video) so you can recreate the looks.  I even have this water marble bookmarked because I love it so much.  She does have long nails which provides for a bit more design area than nubbins, but all her designs are recreate-able.

Next is Nail Art Tuesday.  Unfortunately, she's been a little busy because she's also an author (like a real book! heh).  She posts only on Tuesdays, and only nail art and it's always a step by step process so again, you can recreate it yourself!  She also has long nails.

Last today is Nail Bean.  I guess I should have called this Nail Art Sunday because this is another nail art blog, but she doesn't have tutorials or step by step and she hasn't posted much in 2011.  She has short to medium nails.

Enjoy the rest of your day!  I'm making wheat angel hair spaghetti and meatballs for the family with some Texas Toast and a fresh salad of baby spinach and spring mix.  Yum!

China Glaze White Cap vs Jesse's Girl Fire Fly

So while I was checking out China Glaze White Cap, I was thinking I had seen this color before.  Sure enough Jesse's Girl Fire Fly is pretty close!

First I used Seche Natural and then 2 coats of polish but no top coat...  On my ring and pinkie, I did a coat of CND Blackjack first.

So here's the break down.  White cap has more of a milky base than Fire Fly but also White Cap has a gold flash and Fire Fly has a green flash.  This is shown perfectly (hah) in my blurry picture up there.

You can see it a bit in the shade as well.  Funny how something can look so close be not be the same.  :)
