China Glaze Pelican Gray vs Dr.'s REMEDY Healing

Look familiar?  I thought so too.  For both polishes, I used a base of Seche Natural, 2 coats of polish and a top of Seche Vite.  Are you ready for twins?

Hello sun!  Total dupes.

Same story in the shade - even down to the blue undertone.

And an inside flash shot - fun times!

China Glaze Pelican Gray

Another from the spring 2011 collection Anchors Away is China Glaze Pelican Gray.  This is another one of those light concrete greys that seemed super popular last year and it does hold its own as a nice neutral.

I used a base coat of Seche Vite, 2 coats of Pelican Gray and a top of Seche Vite.  Formula was good - consistent.

Here it is in the sun.  My cuticles need some care eep!

In the shade it has a bit of a blue undertone to it.

I had the bright idea (ha) to take pictures against my white door with a flash - not sure if this helps much or not... I did it for Starboard too.

Overall - Nice grey creme with just a tiny shimmer.

China Glaze Starboard

Jumping around again - here is another from the Spring 2011 "Anchors Away" collection from China Glaze - the hip and playful green creme, Starboard.  This is a pretty raw green color - if you're into green, I'd say grab this one.  I used a base of Seche Natural, 3 coats of Starboard, and a top of Seche Vite.  The formula was a little thin for me, but no big deal.

Bam!  In your face with the sun picture.

Even in the shade, this is very nice - a little hint of yellow undertone.

And kind of a random shot - this was indoors with a flash.  Look how it just floats on the nail - almost squishy jelly like.
