OPI Grape...Set...Match

So you've seen Servin' Up Sparkle, now time for Grape...Set...Match, the duo partner from the Glam Slam! England collection by OPI.  During Cosmoprof, Kimmi from the Plastic Diaries allowed me to sit in her interview with Suzi and one of the questions Kimmi had was about Suzi's "Dream Team" collaboration (if she had one) and Suzi said something that really made sense.  She said that she likes to work with celebrities who actually care about their nails - which is why Serena Williams was a great match (heh) for OPI... you can see Serena cares about what's on her nails... and I'm just kind of rambling now.  Back to the polish!  As you can see, this is a purple with some red and blue shimmer.  It looks amazing in the bottle, but what about on the nail?  I used a base of OPI Natural Nail, 2 coats of polish and a top of OPI Top Coat.

Okay, so does all the shimmer get lost?  You be the judge... it's definitely shimmering but you don't see the firey glow like in the bottle.  However, it's still amazing on the nails.

In the shade, this color rocks - point blank.  It's extremely blinging and a very pretty shade of purple.  I'm really in love with this color.

Inside with the flash and you can finally see the blue flash shimmer.  Such a lovely color - definitely a must buy for me.

As a bonus, here are my mom's feet - this is the first time she's ever worn purple nail polish and she loved it!

OPI is available at Professional Salons, including Beauty Brands, Beauty First, Chatters, Dillard’s, JCPenney, Pure Beauty, Regis, Trade Secret, and Ulta, for $8.50 ($10.95 CAN) suggested retail for each Nail Lacquer. Please visit their website for details [official website].

Jesse's Girl Flambe

I've already swatched Rouge Flambe but today's eye dust from Jesse's Girl is Flambe and check out just how rich this color is!  I couldn't believe how much pigment was packed into one small swatch.  It's definitely not for the faint of heart but does make a very bold statement.

Even in the shade this color seriously kicks butt.  I think I'm going to have a day to just rock this and not care because it's very in your face but I like it a lot and I think we all need a little boldness.  :)

Jesse's Girl sells for $4.99 a piece online or at Rite Aid stores. You can visit Jesse's Girl on their website, Like them on Facebook and Follow them on Twitter.

Jesse's Girl Blue Moon

This is not the first time that Jesse's Girl has used the title Blue Moon in its cosmetics (check out the nail polish here) but I can see why they used it here!  Unlike the other blues in their eye dust collection, this is a darker base with loads of metallic blue sparkles in it.  Great for day or evening but I'd probably stick to evening with it.

The shimmer is lost in the shade but not completely gone.  It helps keep the opacity of this eye dust without being too heavy or dark.
