China Glaze Texture Collection

So last year at Cosmoprof North America Las Vegas, I was told I could NOT talk about Texture - the textured polish that China Glaze came out with. We totally thought we were in the clear until I realized that one of my photos I published had the world "Texture" in the photo on the bottom of the shelf.
Yeah.

People online jumped on it quick and I felt like I was going to be blacklisted for life.  LIFE YO.  But all was good, I replaced the image on the fly and the world kept turning.

Now, not only can I talk about them but I also own them all (because I have to own them all!).  Please enjoy the following release:

GETTING DOWN TO THE NITTY GRITTY

China Glaze® Introduces Texture: the Newest Technology in Nail Lacquer

China Glaze® introduces Texture, a unique new lacquer that applies as a crème but dries with a 3D texture effect. Unlike traditional nail art techniques that require multiple steps, Texture only requires one step—painting the nail.  Texture dries matte, but can be combined with China Glaze® Fast Forward Top Coat for a glossy effect. With a finish similar to that of a sugared rim, Texture is the perfect accessory for a beach day, night-on-the-town, or special rendezvous.

In The Rough: light lime green with textured grit
Unrefined: bright pink with textured grit
Itty, Bitty & Gritty: melon with textured grit
Bump & Grind: hot pinkish-red with textured grit
Of Coarse!: bright cobalt-blue with textured grit
Toe-tally Textured: tangerine-orange with textured grit

The China Glaze® Texture collection will be available in May 2013 at fine salons and beauty supply stores nationwide.

China Glaze is free of DBP, toluene, and added formaldehyde.

China Glaze nail lacquers are available through salons and professional beauty supply stores nationwide. For more information, please visit www.chinaglaze.com or follow China Glaze on Facebook (@ChinaGlaze), Twitter (@ChinaGlazeOfficial) and Pinterest (pinterest.com/chinaglaze).

Cult Nails Tempest

I don't know if I can tell you enough how much I love Cult Nails polishes.  I literally own all the ones you can buy and I continue to buy their new collections because they really have a product I want to stand behind. Especially THIS.  This is my Holy Grail. This is my staple! I actually own a backup (and I don't own backups).  This is the ONE COAT white creme named Tempest.

One coat?  Yes, ONE coat.  Uno.

So I started with a base of Cult Nails Get It On, and then one coat of polish, followed by Cult Nails Wicked Fast.  This polish is a "self-leveling" lacquer which means it's a little thick but it settles into an opaque coat on the nail. Do not thin the polish, just wipe more off your brush.  With my Wicked Fast, I'm dry to the touch in less than 5 minutes.

Just one coat!

If I haven't persuaded you enough, how about this?  Starting in June 2013, ALL domestic orders no matter how big or small, includes FREE shipping.  But wait, there's more!

Yesterday, the Cult Nails Facebook Page reached 20,000 fans, so they are offering a discount until June 9th (Sunday). $15 off an order of $50 and $30 off an order of $100. For the International fans, you will get free shipping over $75! How awesome is all that? I'm thinking I may need more Tempest.

Originally this was a press sample bottle but I had purchased a bottle before I knew I was getting a press sample, and I will definitely be buying again!

Cult Nails [Website | Facebook | Twitter | Blog | Instagram: CultNails] is available in their shop for $12 a bottle.

Deborah Lippmann The Mermaids

Last month Deborah Lippmann launched her Summer collection - The Mermaids which seriously look awesome. That purple will be coming home with me.

INTRODUCING THE MERMAIDS – SUMMER 2013 COLLECTION
Summer Fantasy: Magical Mermaid Hues Inspired by Mermaid’s Dream

Make a splash this summer with The Mermaids from Deborah Lippmann. Enter the summer fantasy of mermaid-inspired hues, inspired by the fan-favorite Mermaid’s Dream that took us by storm last year.

Set your sights on a seaside cerulean with Mermaid’s Eyes or a tangerine twinkle with Million Dollar Mermaid. Get flirty with a lavender luster, Do the Mermaid or a bubbling blush, Mermaid’s Kiss. Immerse yourself in summer mermaid fantasy by adding Mermaid’s Dream and painting each nail a different mermaid shade.

Deborah elaborated on her inspiration for the collection stating, “I created these shades by listening to what customers wanted – more Mermaid’s Dream. I took the beautiful glittered shimmer to another level by creating a whole family of shades reminiscent of the cult classic. Discover the same gorgeous glittering shine in any of The Mermaids.”

Suggested Retail Price: $19 each, launching May 2013

Deborah Lippmann Romantic Rapture

I didn't even realize Deborah Lippmann had a line of lipsticks! It only makes sense that she would expand her line of beauty but I just wasn't aware. While these launched in the spring, you can still find them out.

INTRODUCING SPRING 2013 COLOR COLLECTION: ROMANTIC RAPTURE
Revel in the breath-taking rhapsody of Spring 2013! Introducing two brand new lipsticks and three new nail lacquers, the Deborah Lippmann Spring 2013 Color Collection offers a variety of bold and subtle hues that are romantically feminine.

Expanding her lipstick collection, Deborah Lippmann is launching two bright shades that give the collection a sexy punch. The formula is a unique hybrid, offering the rich, creamy texture of a lipstick and the sheer, high-shine finish of a lip gloss. She Bangs is a ravishing red that makes a bold lip statement. Call Me Maybe is a sheer cheeky coral that will be as popular as the song it was named after. They are universal yet vibrant and playful shades that are the perfect complement to any spring wardrobe. “These are two very wearable lip colors that are fun, happy and will make you look and feel beautiful,” says Deborah. “Just apply and go – if you don’t have time for anything else. A great lip shade will make you look put together and sophisticated.” she adds.

The collection also introduces Moon Rendezvous, a faded slate blue shimmer, Careless Whisper, a scintillating nude shimmer and Groove Is In The Heart, a flamingo pink crème. Deborah’s nail lacquers never cease to impress with modern, sophisticated and easily wearable hues for all ages.

Deborah Lippmann Staccato Spring 2013

Yes, I'm a little out of season, but you may not have seen these Deborah Lippmann polishes that came out in Spring 2013.  Please enjoy the following press release.

STACCATO – Simply Delicious!
A New Innovative Formula for Spring 2013

Deborah Lippmann takes glitter to another level once again with an unexpected juxtaposition, combining black glitter with traditional soft pastel hues. Staccato is a trend-in-the-making with an innovative finish available in three deliciously energizing shades reminiscent of your favorite cotton candy, oreo and mint chocolate chip ice-creams!

The collection introduces I’m Not Edible, a panicked pink staccato, Polka Dots And Moonbeams, a sprightly black and white staccato and Rockin’ Robin, a mint mayhem staccato. These shades offer the perfect balance of femininity with a rich crème base and a jazzed-up edginess with the speckled black glitter.

“When creating this formula, I was thinking of ways to make black glitter wearable. I like how the glitter pops with a crème base, and I love that we took very wearable spring shades and gave them more pizzazz – even a bit of an edge,” said Deborah.
Suggested Retail Price: $19 each, launching April 2013
