Salon Perfect Neon Collision

So I kind of forgot to tell you about these. Oops. Salon Perfect came out with 6 hot neon dot polishes that were very reminiscent of Floam this summer. It was pretty hot.

Now these never made it to my Wal-Mart (grr) but I got to drool over them at Cosmoprof North America (above). Lovely stuff.  If you're looking to find these - um, yeah good luck. If you were one of the lucky ones to have them at your Wal-Mart, YAY! Otherwise, man... yeah good luck.

Salon Perfect® floats neon matte fine glitter in a clear base to create this “can’t-not-look” collection of six eye-catching shades that offer complete coverage in 2-3 coats.  Or give nails a blast of nail art by using any Salon Perfect® Neon Collision shade as a one-coat layering polish, or blend two shades to create an easy ombré look.

The Salon Perfect® Neon Collision collection includes:

Bang – Orange and yellow collision
Exploded – Reddish orange and yellow collision
Jolt – Yellow and orange collision
Kaboom – Turquoise and yellow collision

Salon Perfect Fall 2013

More fall coming down the pipeline. Now I have a love/hate with Salon Perfect. I love that it's like the baby sister to China Glaze and the new bottle shape is something that I don't mind collecting but it's SO hard for me to find Salon Perfect at my Wal-Mart. I went tonight and the entire two racks were WIPED. The only thing they had was Salon Perfect Sugar Cube (which is actually a really nice white, but still).

Also really big this year is Matte top coats. I don't totally understand it except all old things are new again. Remember when matte polish was awesome? Me too.  Regardless, please enjoy the following press release.

When it comes to accessorizing this Fall’s most fashionable looks, a pop of rich color is the perfect way to spice up otherwise sensible shades for the season.  Gorgeous emerald green looks luxe against neutrals while deep berry tones add pizzazz to black.  This August, polish off any look with the new Salon Perfect® First Look Fall Polish Forecast.

Accessorize with a colorful manicure in one of the gorgeous seasonal shades.  Choose from iridescent metallics and vibrant blues to rich reds and subtle pinks.  No matter the shade, achieve a smooth, satin finish with the limited edition Matte FX top coat, or slick on a shiny top coat for a glassy, glam finish.  The Salon Perfect® First Look Fall Polish Forecast offers a bounty of manicure options this Fall.

Salon Perfect® First Look Fall Polish Forecast includes:

Tainted Love
warm rosy peach with a pearlescent gold finish

Scarlet Enchantment

Seche Dives In Head First

Halfway through the Bright and Bold Collection Summer 2013 from Seche and we have Dives In Head First, this lovely bubblegum pink creme. I used a base of Seche Natural, 1 coat, and a top of Seche Vite.  Lovely bones.

You see this sun photo? You see this squishy pink? You like? I love.

Rather see it in the shade? Deal. Jelly.

Finally indoors with the light coming through my now broken storm door (I'm still bitter, don't mind me). I really fell in love with this pink and that's saying something because normally pinks are a dime a dozen and I'm saying "yawn, next." This was pretty much my stand out color in the collection.

Seche [Website | Facebook | Twitter] Nail Lacquer is available at professional beauty supply stores, select etailers and Ulta online. Price ranges from $4 to $7.50 depending on retailer.

China Glaze Autumn Nights

Ah geez, Fall 2013 already? Yes.  One more collection from Cosmoprof North America that I wasn't able to talk about until now (grumble) and a blurry picture to go with it! I don't know what was wrong with me. But I'm pretty much in love with the top half so there's that.  It's something about jewel tones.  The bottom half... well I'm needing a pick me up because I'm not a fan yet.

You may have seen these on display already but the official release is supposed to be September 2013. Twelve new shades available in open stock, 6 piece box collections ("Gossip over Gimlets" and "Strike Up A Cosmo") and then the pretty 6 piece counter display, 12 piece counter display and 36 piece rack.  Those last 3 things are mainly for the professionals.

My picks are Strike Up A Cosmo (the rose gold on top) and Goldie But Goodie (the gold shimmer on top) but I'm interested in how Gossip Over Gimlets (silver foil on bottom) will wear too.

As the season begins to change and the weather cools, China Glaze® invites you to step inside for an evening of cocktails, gossip, flirtation and gorgeous nail color with the new Autumn Nights collection. Gab with the gals, clink those glasses and cheers to a fabulous Fall with nails that strike up a conversation.

The China Glaze® Autumn Nights collection includes:

Gossip Over Gimlets
Platinum shimmer soiree

Goldie But Goodie
Eternal rust gold shimmer

Strike Up A Cosmo
Sparkling rose gold shimmer

Rendezvous With You
Shimmery purple affair

Public Relations
Impressionable violet gunmetal shimmer

Kiss My Glass
Feisty blue gunmetal shimmer

Tongue & Chic
Playful emerald shimmer

Scandalous Shenanigans
Rich blue shimmer

Queen B
Regal blue-purple crème

Charmed, I’m Sure
Gracious purple crème

Don’t Make Me Wine
Reserve-worthy red-violet shimmer

Red-y & Willing
Frisky red shimmer

Seche Wild One

More Seche Bright and Bold today - this is Wild One, a pretty coral creme. Okay, so I had to cheat on this one a little. I used a base of Seche Natural, and two coats of polish before my top of Seche Vite.  Normally this polish line is one coat but I think I got too excited and that's what caused me to need two coats. If you don't let your base coat dry completely, you can get drag when applying your color coat.

Pretty coral sun photo. It's like salmon coral here but wait until you see it in the shade, hold on.

Turn around in the shade and you see more coral. Be wild, little one.

Ta da - indoors with some indirect light. I chose a different photo that my original one that was on the Nail It mag because I feel this one shows more coral that the others. Whatevs, *NSYNC reunited last night and I can't really move forward from that because my inner teenager is too excited.  WILD ONE.
