Gelaze by China Glaze

Last year at Cosmoprof North America, I was able to view the new China Glaze Gelaze - a gel polish line featuring your favorite China Glaze polishes.  If you recall, they were planning to roll this out in October/November 2013 but life happened and now it's finally here. Mostly.

So the lamp is still in production (to my knowledge), along with the treatments but for now, you can at least get this stuff on your nails.  I went to my local Sally Beauty Supply during their buy one get one free and got 3 colors and the top coat.
I purchased Coconut Kiss, Fairy Dust and Awakening - three of my favorite polishes of all times.

Please enjoy the following press release from China Glaze.

Morgan Taylor Polished Up

Press Sample

One day I decided to just start pulling random polishes out of my stash to wear. I had no rhyme or reason to it - just wanted to get a mish mash of items. One of those was Morgan Taylor Polished Up - a nude creme with a pink undertone. I used a base coat of Cult Nails Get It On, 2 coats of polish and a top coat of Digital Nails Ain't Nobody Got Time For That.

So good news is that this is super opaque, no streaks and it's pretty too look at. Bad news is that this polish totally flooded into my cuticles - not like the formula was bad, just runny.

Morgan Taylor [Website | Facebook | Twitter | Instagram | Pinterest | YouTube] is available at CosmoProf for $8.50 a bottle. Online, non-professionals can purchase Morgan Taylor at Ulta Beauty

China Glaze Surprise

So last month, I was looking at my NAILPRO magazine when SURPRISE! No, literally.

Looked like a lot of awesome glitters (please no more hairy glitters - On The Horizon, I'm looking at you). Please enjoy the following release - all images courtesy of China Glaze.

China Glaze City Flourish

It seems like China Glaze has done some pastels every spring for as long as I can remember - this time they are throwing some neons in the mix! Now, I haven't been able to try these yet myself, but I have read from other bloggers that they are not the most easy to work with. I'll keep you posted on that.

KBShimmer Spring 2014 Collection

So last week, KBShimmer released her Spring 2014 collection. I quickly bought Quick & Flirty and Prism Break and they are already here! Talk about great customer service.

Please enjoy the following release - all images courtesy of KBShimmer.

KBShimmer is excited to announce the addition of 16 new colors to their 3-Free polish line.  Owner Christy Rose says “Spring has inspired the KBShimmer staff to create two collections filled with fun, vibrant color.  For the first time, we will also be offering cream polishes.  These polishes pair wonderfully with many existing KBShimmer polishes, but are also wonderful alone.”
